<h3><span style="color: #008080;"><strong><em>Day One</em></strong></span></h3>
<p>It was the Easter weekend; mum woke me up at 4am in the morning.  I remembered why my mum woke me up; it was time to get ready. We had to leave early, not only the distance but its the day almost all Sydney residents are leaving Sydney.</p>
<p>It was a 450km drive to the campsite, Trial Bay Gaol. The car was crammed with supplies for us to take to the campsite and was very uncomfortable. I didn't have breakfast because it was too early. In about an hour, we stopped for a break at Mooney Mooney Bridge to have our breakfast of croissants. We waited for our friends to catch up to us. In about fifteen minutes we caught sight of our friends and set off again. I was getting really bored because I already finished reading one whole book.  Couldn't play any games on my iPod because it was also about to die.</p>
<p>After about 5 hours of drive, we stopped for lunch in a rest area. I had a very nice tuna sandwich and blackcurrant juice. Once we set off again we reached the campsite within the hour. Altogether the trip was eight hours including all our breaks and then the Easter Weekend traffic. We could have sliced off a whole hour on a different day! We reached the reception desk at the museum entrance first and then once we got booked in, we drove to our site.</p>
<p>When I heard that we were going camping at Trial Bay I was thinking of a large camping site, well spread blocks and a clear view of the beach. It was a large camping ground indeed, so was the crowd. Because it was the Easter weekend, the camping ground was full of people. The place was a lot more crowded than I would have expected. Though we didn't have a clear view of the beach, our two sites, 64 &amp; 65, were very nice. There was a narrow road; nice spot to pitch the tents and a great strip of grassy area that became our cricket pitch for the next few days. While our parents were pitching the tent, my friend Hirun and I played a game of cricket. The only problem was that hitting boundaries meant that we had to go to the dense bushes, filled with spider webs and all sort of bugs, to fetch the ball.</p>
<p>In the evening, once the tents were up, we all went for a walk along the beach to get to know the area. We passed a big amenity block, which was very clean; and the beach had an amazing look to it at sunset. My dad got some really nice photos as well. Unfortunately we could only dip our feet in because it was too late. I also had a chance to use my new torch because it got very dark at only six o'clock.</p>
<p>When we got back I went to the showers with a bag of twenty-cent coins. It costs 20 cents for a hot shower; we need to pay for hot showers at some camps. When I got into the cubicle I was having trouble finding the slot to put the coins. I saw a white box but couldn't see a slot to put the coins in. After a minute of searching I had an idea. I climbed on the bench to reach the slot at the very top of the white box. When I came back to the tent after a shower, it was dark, I was tired and it was a very long day. We all were really exhausted. While our parents were having a chat outside, I decided to have an early night because the day really exhausted me. Sleep came quick because my sleeping bag kept me warm and there were no outside noises other than the gentle breeze coming from the beach. It was 7:30p.m.</p>

<h3><span style="color: #008080;"><em><strong>Day Two</strong></em></span></h3>
<p>I woke up to hear my friends talking outside. I came out, went to the amenity block close by, quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed. It gets very cold in the night and early morning so I had to wear my jumper. My dad had left the campsite well before I woke up. He took his camera, which was an obvious sign that he was going to come back well passed our breakfast. I knew that at least he would get some really good pictures. Once he came back he had breakfast and we got dressed to have a full day at the beach.</p>
<p>I got my boogie-board and flippers before setting out to the beach. The first thing I did was throw my stuff down on the sand and jump into the water. It was very cold and refreshing. The tide was high and the water came all the way back to a huge sandbar, which forced us to climb up and set the beach tent up on the sandbar. I was able to walk about 500 meters out in the water because it was very shallow. There were no rips and the water came only up to my shoulders at the highest point. After about 30 minutes my toes started to go numb from the cold water so I rode the waves back to shore on my boogie-board. Hirun and I started to dig a hole far away from the water and we even dug down to water deep underground. We also came across a beetle swimming in a tiny puddle. I went back to water to throw the vortex but I soon got bored and didn't have the strength to throw very far.  Then I had a cold shower and got dressed in the beach tent.</p>
<p>Once we got back to the campsite we played about ten minutes on my IPod and then went back to cricket. At about 5:30 we packed it up and got set for a woodfire barbecue. It was a two-minute walk.  We had to find sticks and twigs so that our dads could start the fire with a lighter. In a little while our small fire became a big fire. Our chicken drumsticks were about to become engulfed in flames. That was because our dads put too much wood into the fire. They were quick to remove burning wood and reduce the fire. We had well-cooked sausages and chicken in the end. There were a number of barbecue sites and the one I went to and the best one is number 6. We went back to our campsite and I had an early night again.</p>

<h3><em><strong><span style="color: #008080;">Day Three</span></strong></em></h3>
<p>I started off the day the same as yesterday with my dad leaving again. My dad wakes up very early in the morning and goes to the beach to capture the sunrise. I haven't seen the sunrise for real, but I have seen it in his photos.</p>
<p>The first thing we did after breakfast was play some more cricket. Then we went to the gaol. The gaol was over a hundred years old and there had been 570 convicts with only 180 cells. The convicts have been given a strict timetable and surprisingly consisted of a whole lot of bathing. The gaol had a hospital, bathtubs, cells, oven, kitchen, guard watch-tower and a newly built exhibit which had two floors worth of historical facts and objects. There was a movie that kept on playing over and over but the way they presented it makes it very boring, you could even sleep through it because the volume was so low you couldn't hear it. I wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone but the rest of the gaol was amazing. If you have a look in the first two cells on the right side you will find a nice surprise, which is one of the many reasons to visit Trial Bay.</p>
<p>We then went back to the campsite and started another game of cricket. When we lost our ball a 3-year old boy, Kade, from the campsite next to us offered to help find the ball. This goes to show how easy it is to find friends at campsites.</p>
<p>We then decided to go to the beach. We had even more fun because we could go even further out to the water due to low tide.  We went back to the campsite, had our lunch and played a few hours of cricket. Our parents promised us ice cream so we walked over to the ice-cream van, which was conveniently parked near our barbecue. Once we got our snacks we went for a walk along the beach. We climbed up the boat ramp and went to the breakwater, which was originally constructed around 1850 with massive granite blocks.  It was a very windy day; when big waves hit the breakwater, water spurts through the holes like a blowhole and gave us all a good shower.</p>
<p>That part of the campsite was exposed directly to the ocean. The campers who stayed there had their tents blown off because of the strong winds. When we came back my dad had to remove the tarp for fear of it would blow off. Sleep was harder that night because the wind was threatening to throw the tent into flight. I managed to sleep in the end.</p>

<h3><span style="color: #008080;"><em><strong>Day Four</strong></em></span></h3>
<p>This was our last day and while our parents were packing up we all played with our friends from the campsite next to us. We played some more cricket and I accidentally hit a kangaroo with the ball. It ran through the pitch while I tried to bowl my Leg Spin. The kangaroo came to our tent and stole some buns from the table. My dad had to scare it off.</p>
<p>We then set off for the journey back home. We stopped at famous Freddo's Pies but because it was too early to eat we kept them in the car for later. We stopped at a park and finally ate our pies. My Beef Stroganoff Pie was really yummy. I would recommend those pies to the world.</p>
<p>After a few hours we stopped at McDonalds for dinner and by the time we got home it was 7 o'clock. That was a nine-hour trip. I was upset to have left the campsite because of our friend but glad at the same time to be back at home!</p>

<p><em><a title="The Loch" href="http://www.dinan.pingamage.com/?p=59">Part 1</a> ...They were gasping for air. Peter and Sam apologized for what they did, thinking it was going to be the last minutes of their lives...</em></p>
<p>They were loosing air by the second. Then the professor looked out the window and, to his amazement, saw an underwater cave that was dry. “Quick, open the hatch,” Cried the professor. Dad was the closest to the hatch, so he moved quickly to open it. Everyone was dying for a gulp of air. “Now follow me,” cried the professor. Buckets of water came in to the submarine and the professor used all his strength to swim against the water.</p>
<p>He made it out of the hatch, made a big leap and landed on what appeared to be the hard cave floor.  Luckily, he wasn’t hurt because he landed on the Loch Ness monster! “The professor’s heart was pumping faster than a piston of a V16.  The monster lifted his head and at that exact moment the family came out and fell onto the Loch Ness monster sending his head back down.</p>
<p>Everyone jumped off and hid behind a rock. The Loch Ness monster went beneath the surface. “Is he gone?” Asked Mum with a terrified voice. She was beginning to wish she never came on this trip at all.  “Yah” Said Peter.</p>
<p>They slowly crept out and suddenly Peter stopped, then Sam stopped, then the professor stopped, then Mum stopped but Dad couldn’t stop so he bumped into Mum who bumped into the professor who bumped into Sam who bumped into Peter and sending everyone into a big, black hole.<br />
“Well, that was like dominos” Said Dad. They were going deep into the rock when they suddenly came out. The new place was covered in gold. “Wow” Said the professor. Then Peter heard a high-pitched roar.</p>
<p>He turned around and saw no one else but the Loch Ness Monster! The only place they could run was at the Loch Ness monster. It neared Peter. He was shaking in his shoes “Good boy” Said Peter in a calm voice, trying his best to hide his fear. “Here, take my fruit bar,” He said as he unwrapped it. The Loch Ness monster sniffed it and gobbled it up.</p>
<p>The Loch Ness monster swam away at top speed but accidently bumped into the hard rock wall. The family could hear him howling. “Look at his snout” Cried Peter as he tore a piece of his sleeve and bandaged up the bleeding wound.</p>
<p>Suddenly the Loch Ness monster grabbed them by their shirts, threw them onto its scaly back and swam up at top speed. They had to close their eyes because the water pressure was too high. The Loch Ness monster went up to the surface so they could breath and then back down so it wouldn’t look odd to the surrounding people. It used the method until it got to the docks. The family climbed of the Loch Ness monster, careful to stay of his snout. Once they got on the docks Peter and Sam started hugging the dry land. "Ouch” A large piece of gold hit the professor on his head.  “Well I think that piece of gold was a present because of the fruit bar” Said Peter.  We should have given him a much larger fruit bar, Said Dad.</p>
<p>“Well how about we go in my submarine tomorrow to see our new friend?” Asked the professor, the large bump on his head causing him to forget the whereabouts of the submarine. "Sure" Said the absent minded Dad.</p>
<p>They left the dock hiding the gold under their wet shirts.</p>

<p>“Oh, come on,” wailed Peter “Do we have to?” “Yes, now pack your bags” Said Dad. Peter and Sam were going to Loch Ness, Scotland home to the Loch Ness monster.</p>
<p>They already had an encounter with monsters. Or were they aliens? Peter and Sam came across them when they were stranded on the alien infested island a couple of months ago. The island is now a very popular tourist attraction. The aliens were scared of all the vehicles so they moved to a different part of the island. The president Barrack Obama is currently on that exact island along with Australia’s first female Prime Minister Julia Gillard. They ordered researchers to come to the island to study the blue hexagon fruits and the weird footprints. For all the hard work they offered Peter and Sam a trip to the Loch. Peter and Sam were still sick of going on a boat or plane so they weren’t keen on taking the offer.</p>
<p>“Peter, Sam, hurry up and pack your bags” Called their mother. A big limo was parked outside ready to take them to the airport. They finished packing just in time. They got in the limo and set off. They played “I spy” and hand games to pass the time. Eventually they got to the airport then Sam saw a board saying flight to Loch has departed. “Mum, Dad our flight has already departed”. “ No, our flight is over there” She said as she pointed to a board saying the flight to Loch departs in twenty minutes. “So are we travelling in a Qantas A380?” Asked Peter. “Yes” Said his mum. “Now would you please put your bag through there” said the staff at the counter.</p>
<p>When they went to the plane Peter sat next to a window and Sam sat next to a big Sumo Wrestler who was drooling Fanta. Nothing is going my way he thought when suddenly Barbie and the Diamond castle was on his screen. It was so boring that the Sumo Wrestler slept on Sam’s shoulder spraying Fanta all over him and the screen. Sam tried to change it but the Fanta may have ruined the circuits. Peter was in luck for there was no Fanta drooling Sumo Wrestler near him. Peter’s screen showed Avatar, which was a newly released movie.</p>
<p>They had little turbulence but besides that the ride was pretty smooth.</p>
<p>They were getting off the plane, when Peter saw Sam half orange; he had to ask what was going on. When Sam told him what happened Peter started to laugh so hard that he couldn’t help but fall on a member of the cabin crew. Still laughing he got back up but stopped immediately when he heard a high-pitched roar.There was a tour guide ready to take the family, when she saw Peter’s puzzled face she giggled and said, “That was the Loch Ness monster, you’ll have to get used to it!” “To start, the Loch is famous for under water caves”. “Can we save this for tomorrow?” Asked Mum. “Sure” Said the tour guide. She left, leaving the family in a strange place.</p>
<p>“Hey, aren’t you the two boys who discovered that island?” Cried a sailor. That was a strange way to be addressed but they both said yes.  “Come on I’ll take you for a ride in my boat”. They jumped in the boat and the sailor started the motor.</p>
<p>Peter suddenly started to feel sick so he vomited in the water. Sam pushed Peter overboard for fun. Peter fell in the water and saw something that looked like an eel coming his way. All Peter could think about was fear and panic. Then the eel started to take shape into the Loch Ness monster. He tried to swim to the surface but the Loch Ness monster came up too fast. Peter was sent flying into the air then the Loch Ness monster opened its mouth. Pieces of fish were stuck in its teeth and they gave of a bad odor. Peter was just about to go in its mouth, when Sam kicked its scaly neck.</p>
<p>The sailor grabbed Peter and yanked him into the boat. Peter’s mum was examining him to see if he got hurt and Dad was scolding Sam for pushing Peter.</p>
<p>The Loch Ness Monster had a slimy cut on its neck where Sam kicked it. Then it made a roaring sound and swam away at around 3600 Kilometers per hour (1 kilometer per second).</p>
<p>“Ow my back, hey this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t push me Sammie!” “Hey no names and it was just a little joke”. “I think I should take you to your hotel, and if you see the professor you should tell him the whole story” Said the sailor. So they sailed back to the dock finding the sea very rough, probably because of fiasco on the ocean.</p>
<p>When they got to the dock they caught a taxi to their hotel. On their way there they saw some old castles that people used to try and spot the Loch Ness monster, which Peter saw way too well.<br />
They parked outside a massive hotel. “ It’s amazing ” Said Dad. Peter, Sam and their family went to the reservation desk.</p>
<p>Under a layer of glass there were brightly coloured tags all attached to key cards. Peter and Sam were betting on what colour they would get when the lady at the desk said “Here’s your key card, swipe it carefully so the machine can read the barcode”. Peter and Sam both lost the bet because the card was rainbow and none of them said that colour.</p>
<p>They went to the lift and found out that the inside was golden, the carpet was red and there were exactly 100 floors. Their room was on the 100th floor at the end of the hall. The 100th floor button was just out of reach for Peter and Sam but when they tried they hit every other button except the 100th button. Their dad accidentally bumped the 100th button with his elbow. Now all the buttons were glowing. It took one hour and forty minutes for them to reach the top.</p>
<p>On their way to the top they bumped into a man who looked old and very smart. “I believe one of you were attacked by Nessie or what you might call the Loch Ness monster” “By the way I’m the Professor”. “I was attacked by the Loch Ness monster all because of my brother” Said Peter. “Well, everything’s okay so you can forget all about it”. “How would you like a tour in my submarine?” Asked the professor. “We would love that” Said mum. “Great, we can do it after the carnival” Said the professor as he walked away.</p>
<p>Well why didn’t anyone tell me there was a carnival?” Asked mum. They opened their door and Peter and Sam ran in. Peter jumped on a bed with water and fish in it. “This is amazing,” Said Peter who was studying the fish.   “You got that right” Said Sam as he sat on a couch and began watching Origin on a 3D TV.</p>
<p>“Hey why don’t we go down to the pool” Said Dad. “Sounds great” Said Peter. So they got dressed and went to the pool. “Wow this is like a theme park with all these water slides” Said Sam. They had the time of their lives but they had to leave eventually.</p>
<p>They were exhausted and when they got in the lift their dad pressed the 100th button and Sam started to lean on the side of the lift accidentally pressing all the other buttons. Now they had to wait again  to get to the top.</p>
<p>When Sam was having a wash Peter turned the kitchen sink to hot water and Sam screamed because the hot water went to the sink and the water in the shower was freezing. Sam wanted payback so he waited for Peter to fall asleep in his aqua bed. Then he crept into the kitchen and got some yellow cordial. He slowly lifted Peter’s quilt and he poured some yellow cordial on the bed to make it look like Peter wet the bed. In the morning Sam got out of bed and woke Peter up. “Peter something smells odd” Said Sam. “I don’t smell anything” Said Peter. “Come on let’s have breakfast” Said Sam. Peter got up and at that exact moment the rest of the family came in. “Ha, ha, ha” laughed Sam. “Peter I never knew you still wet the bed” Said Dad. “Hey I didn’t wet the… wait” He started to smell it and then he said, “This is cordial, Sam tried to trick me” “Let’s listen to the professor and forget about this” Said Dad.</p>
<p>They got ready to go to the carnival and set out. “Wow I’ve never seen dark blue candy floss” Said Peter. “Hey Dad can we have some, please” Asked Sam. “Fine” He Said as he gave the two boys some money from his wallet. Peter saw this girl having some candy floss and vomiting. “Can we please have two cones of candy floss” Asked Peter. The man gave them some; they got a blast from the past and they vomited. “Where did you get this from?” Asked Peter. “Well this is some kind of hexagon shaped fruit that was discovered on the island,” Replied the man selling candy floss.</p>
<p>They didn’t exactly have the time of their life but they had fun. They made their way to the docks where they thought the professor was most likely to be. “Professor where are you” Shouted Dad. “Ah, I thought you would never be here” The family turned around to come face to face with the professor. “Well we are now” Said Dad. “Now the door to the submarine is here,” He said as he beaconed them to come towards a hole in ocean. “I set it so the submarine would just be above the water. ”</p>
<p>“So is this the part where we get in?” Asked Peter. “Oh yah, please get in” He gave them a quick tour of the controls, the engine and the bathroom. “We’re going down, 10 feet, 20 feet” And on he went until he hit something that made everyone fall down. The submarine sprung a leak and in a minute it was knee level. “Help” cried Peter. “No one will here you we’re about 100 feet below the surface” Said the professor. They were gasping for air. Peter and Sam apologized for what they did, thinking it was going to be the last minutes of their lives.</p>

<p>In the future (9999) when space travel was just an ordinary way of travel, there were so many inventions that were producing heaps of greenhouse gasses. The world was getting warmer and warmer and warmer. It was then that the every one noticed the heat. People at the beach started to get heat stroke, even with SPF 10,000. Well now you’d at least think they’d do something but instead they just made more and more gasses, but there was Sam. He was only eight but he was the son of a great scientist who happened to study the big problem, climate change. “We must do something about this,” He said to his son. “Yah, something big.”</p>
<p>Sam’s birthday was coming up soon and he decided he would travel to the sun to find a way to cool it down. He told his dad about the idea. “Are you sure? …” He thought for a split second. “Here” He gave a single dollar to his son. “N.A.S.A. will charge $1.00 for the heat proof space ship.” He gladly got into his wind powered “air boat” and sailed over to N.A.S.S. “What a lot of air traffic” He Said. It was at least a mile long. After about 8 hours he finally got to the building. N.A.S.A was also in the climate change drama. They also had a competition called Shout out for climate change. “Hi, can I go to the sun in the    heat proof space ship?” “That’ll be $1.00,” Said the receptionist. He kindly took the ticket and ran into the ship. “10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Blast off!” Cried the speaker.</p>
<p>Sam was deep in space but he was still on track. Suddenly he saw a big yellow ball. “The sun!” he cried. When he was close enough he saw a hole in the middle of the sun. He slowly headed towards it. He tried to slide through the hole but a wave of water gave him a push to earth. “Well the water looks like it came from Neptune” “Ha, King Neptune.” He just thought it was a dream when suddenly the ship started to lose power. “The water must’ve caught up with the heat generator.” He cried. His ship zoomed towards the hole. When he went through the hole he saw the beautiful world of 2010. “I wish I could go back through time to put a stop to it then.” He mumbled. His ship crashed into a tall rock formation. Sam was sent flying out of the ship, he caught his leg on a gap in the formation and sprained his ankle. Then fell on his head with a loud thump. He got up and started limping over to what looked like a small town.</p>
<p>A cute little fury alien cried “An earthling”. All the Aliens came to him and cried “Earthling, will you please give us back our burning world, this is like Antarctica!” To Sam it was like Egypt.  “Well, I came here to get our world back.” “So, take it but you must give us our world back too.” “With pleasure!” “So exactly, how does this world swap work?” “Well, Saturn will use its rings to swap the worlds but not the buildings just the temperatures and things like that.” “Now I’ll ask them to start spinning the rings” “Wait!” Cried Sam. “At least tell me why there was water flying in outer space?” “Don’t you know? Neptune gives you rain” “Do you earthlings ever study outer space?” “Of course. But that fact will make history.”</p>
<p>Sam hugged every single fury alien and said good-bye. “Well it’s time to start the rings.” Said an alien. Some strong looking aliens wheeled out a big catapult and took aim at what looked like a big switch on Saturn. “The rings will go around once, so goodbye.” “You must stand on that side to go home” Sam eagerly stepped to where he was asked. Then a little alien jumped up and grabbed the top of the catapult and the strong ones pulled him down. “GOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Shouted an alien. Then the alien at the bottom jumped up and sent all of them flying. They hit the switch and the rings were going faster than the speed of light. The aliens on Saturn jumped onto the ring and were sent flying back. “Wow!” Cried the little alien. By the time the aliens returned, they had their burning home back.</p>
<p>Sam was flying home too. He was going so fast that his pants blew off and his climate change underpants were completely visible in the sunlight. By the time he finished going through the atmosphere he saw the beautiful world of 2010 and of course the curios people. “What’s that boy doing in the sky with no pants on?” Asked a lady at the beach. At that moment Sam zoomed through his chimney and landed in the attic. Then he saw a time machine in his own attic. At that moment he came up with an idea. He quickly put on a device that wrote what he was thinking. It was talking about the world as it was in 9999 and his story about how he changed the world. Sam was about to put it in the time machine when he realized he could show everyone that sheet instead of telling them. He grabbed some pants and ran out the door. Every single person was lining up beside his house. He showed them the sheet and everyone thought he would make history. Sam also won all the prizes for the shout out for climate change competition. He went back inside when the fiasco was over and sent the sheet to 2010. Now since it was sent to this year you may be wondering where you could find this story. Well you’re reading it right now.</p>

<p>“Bye mom and dad” Said Peter. “Have a nice holiday” Said Sam. Peter and Sam’s mom and dad left on a holiday allowing them to be at home by themselves.</p>
<p>“I’m bored” Said Sam. So they went outside. Their backyard had a nice tiny stream and a beautiful plum tree. Their dad had a shed filled with tools and spare parts. The two boys decided they would make something with those things in the shed. “Maybe we could make a flying vehicle” Said Peter. “Let’s see what we can find” Said Sam. They found two fans, a power box that was full, motor, a pair of bike pedals, wires, a bike handle, two seats and some metal poles of all sizes. They put the parts together so the fans would connect to the motor and lift the vehicle into the air. If the power box lost power they could use the bike pedals to power up the fan. The poles connected everything together and the wires transported the electricity.</p>
<p>“Lets take off!” Said Peter when he got on. “So how do we take off?” He said. He tried to pedal and then the machine flew into the air about a meter above ground. “Well come on Sam get on!” Shouted Peter. “Shouldn’t we get our bags first, I already have them packed” Said Sam. “I guess, but I’m not getting off” Said Peter. Sam ran in and grabbed the bags. He got back outside and hopped on a seat. Peter hit the power box and started to pedal for five seconds then he stopped. The vehicle picked up speed and instantly they were flying over the beautiful harbour they lived in.</p>
<p>Sam had a look in his bag and he found a weird circle. He pulled it again and again just when he was about to give up… Bang! The circle really was a lid of a bottle of beer and it shot out like a rocket. Sam was holding the bottle of beer without a lid. “What on earth is happening back there?”  Peter turned around and said, “What in the world are you doing with beer.” “It just came here, I don’t know how.” “Lets just keep driving” Said Sam.</p>
<p>Meanwhile the lid was on its way out of the earth’s atmosphere. In a little while the lid hit a satellite and sent thousands of tiny balls out. At that exact moment a whole new tropical island shot out of the ocean and all the balls went straight to it. This island was a secret even the satellite couldn’t spot it. When the balls reached the island they turned into strange creatures some were green, some were purple, and some were blue and lots of other colours. The aliens were very smart because during their time in the satellite they learnt all about the world.</p>
<p>Peter and Sam were also heading to that same island.</p>
<p>They finally saw the island and decided they would stop there. They were heading towards a very tall tree. Then they crashed into the tree but the vehicle didn’t stop. It was moving forward at a great speed; suddenly a vine caught a fan. Then it stopped and sent the boys flying. A thick vine caught both their ankles just as they were about to hit the ground. “Well that solved our braking problem!” Said Peter. “Now how do we get down?” In about twenty minutes the vine was worn out so it snapped. They fell on their heads. They stood up and started rubbing their heads. They found a five-story tree house to stay in. They went to the top level and saw a crystal clear lake from up there. They just jumped in. “The water is freezing” Said Peter. They got out and walked around. They found half foot, half paw prints. ”We’re not the only ones here it seems.” Said Peter. Peter and Sam wondered what that creature could be. It was nighttime so Peter and Sam got blankets from their bags and slept on the floor. Thankfully the island was in the southern hemisphere so the night was dark. When Peter woke up he found a circle of light on his hand. “Hey Sam look at this” He said. “What” said Sam. “It looks like it’s coming through glass.” “Hold on” Said Peter. He went to the top level and jumped onto a tree. He started to climb and as he climbed the circle got bigger. When he got to the top he reached up and felt the glass. “Glass! we’re trapped!” He screamed. They stared at the sky wondering what was going on with their parents.</p>
<p>Their parents weren’t having the best time either. They went in a boat and were going to Hawaii. The wind blew them off course so they headed to a strange country. The cruise boat was wrecked so they were on a wooden boat with oars. They were heading towards the island when… Crack! They made a hole in some glass. “We better head back, ” Said their dad. So they rowed away.</p>
<p>It was another night for Peter and Sam. While they slept the aliens came to the tree house. They took Peter and Sam to their bamboo jails. When they woke up they were surprised to find themselves trapped again. “What’s going on now?” Just then a alien with tentacles came and said,” Your execution day is tomorrow.” Then Peter had an idea. It was the execution day today and Peter told Sam his plan. The aliens took the two kids to get their heads chopped off for trespassing. “Put your head here” Said the alien. Peter put his head where he was asked. The executioner alien took aim, the aliens who were watching closed their eyes and the executioner alien closed his eyes for a moment. Then Peter made a funny hand signal and then they ran away. The executioner swung his axe down and it hit the wood below causing him to fall down. “After them!” He screamed. Peter and Sam climbed trees and crawled through vines. Grabbing a few things to fix the vehicle on their way. They got to the vehicle and replaced the poles with sticks. The aliens were right below them. There were only four vines stopping them from falling in to the alien’s hands. The aliens went to search a different part of the island. Then when they left the vines snapped and Peter and Sam fell down. They stayed there for the night.</p>
<p>In the morning Peter and Sam untangled the vine from the fan. They were ready to start it up but they didn’t eat any food. So they needed breakfast. They found a fruit tree beside them. It was a blue hexagon shaped fruit but when Sam tried it he vomited. “It tastes like worms and snake guts,” He said. Peter took one because he couldn’t starve then he vomited too, right on top of an alien. The alien said, “ Must be a bird” Then he looked up but luckily Peter got out of view just in time. The plan was to find a part of the island that wasn’t roamed by aliens. They started the vehicle up and it worked perfectly. It soared into the air. As soon as they got out of the trees the aliens heard the roar of the motors. They ran towards them. One alien grabbed the vehicle but Sam kicked it of. “Is that a hole?” Asked Peter. “Lets go through and find out”. So they flew through the hole that their parents made. The aliens were shouting things like who didn’t patch this up, in Japanese. The two boys were going over the ocean when the motor stopped working. The two boys were too tired to pedal so they were falling down at top speed. The air was pushing the fan and then the motor started to work. Then suddenly they landed in a tiny wooden boat. The motor landed in the boat and fans landed out of the boat. “Dad, mom what are you doing here” Said Peter. “I’ll tell you when we get home,” Said dad. Then the sticks hit the boat and made a hole. The motor made it go forward and the sticks made it go down. It was a race. They could see the shore of their country. Then the boat sank but the fans were so fast so the water was only knee deep. They made it home because their house was near the shore. They all got a nice mug of hot chocolate. They were talking about their story when they finally noticed that their parents had made that hole. “So thanks for saving our lives” Said Sam. “ You’re welcome, those aliens sound horrid and I’m glad you came back in one piece. “So how about another holiday across the ocean or are you too seasick?” Laughed dad. Then they stayed at home never wanting to go in a boat or plane again, at least on that day.</p>
